Begin Again (2013)
I will introduce one of my favorite movies, Hajimari no Uta (2013) the original title is Begin Again. I was encouraged by this movie last year. I read some Begin Again movie reviews and most people said the story is boring or so-so and Keira Knightley dosen't sings well. But I DISAGREE! I think this movie teaches the importance of feeling each day.
The movie Begin Again story is Greta (played by Keira Knightley) gose to New York with her boyfriend Dave (played by Adam Levine of Maroon5 vocal) because his song was used in the movie. But Dave cheated on with Greta the staff of the music office. Greta broke up and then met a friend, Steve, played by James Corden. Steve takes her toa bar and encourages her to sing on stage. Then an ex-music producer, Dan, played by Mark Ruffalo approaches Greta to make an album.
The movie characters are gorgeous for me because most of the actors is my favorite actors! For example James Corden is a also comedian and talk show host on the The Late Late Show. My favorite program Car Pool Karaoke is good. And Dan is played by Mark Ruffalo, who played in the movie Now You See Me and also as Hulk in the movie Avengers. Dan’s daughter Violet is played by Hailee Steinfeld she is also musician. I sometimes listen to her music and she’s cute. And Dave is played by Adam Levine of Maroon 5. I love Maroon 5 music This February I went to a Mroon5 concert at Tokyo Dome. It was cool and good. Anyway this movies characters are very good for me. But you don’t know them? Or you are not interseted in them? No problem! That’s ok. Next I'll explain the good point.
The good point is the main characters grow up. Dan and Greta have problems. But when Greta and Dan met and made an album together their feelings became positive. And when I finished to watching this movie, I wanted to listen to the music more. The scene in the middle of the movie the Dan’s quote “One of the most banal scenes is suddenly invested with so much meaning! All these banalities – They’re suddenly turned into these… these beautiful, effervescent pearls. From Music.” “That’s what I love about music.” I really agree with this scene. If you hit a bump in the road, please check out this movie to take a break. Maybe this movie Begin Again will encourage you.
